ABOUT US
Edwin Kendrick, M.D., M.B.A., R.P.V.I., the founder of California Vein Vascular and Diagnostics (CAVVD), the parent company of SANO Vein and Vascular, is a University of Maryland Medical Center fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Southern California Vascular Surgery Society, and serves as faculty for the University of California Riverside School of Medicine. Dr. Kendrick is passionate about delivering exceptional venous and arterial vascular care, based on compassion, understanding of the complexities of each individual patient, and in accordance with current standards of evidence-based medical practice.
As a board-certified vascular surgeon, Dr. Kendrick performs and interprets ultrasounds and Doppler/Pressure studies in his Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory. He also has served on the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement RPVI Committee, assisting in developing new testing standards, test question analysis, and development of future test questions for the RPVI examination.
As a founder of start-ups, Dr. Kendrick has remained passionate about integrative technology uses to impact populations of people, while maximizing care through limited costs. It is Dr. Kendrick's current mission to contribute to the transformation of healthcare, while improving care access, care delivery, and health equities. His innovative technological advancements as President of SANO Healthcare Consultants, has resulted in innumerable academic partnerships and funding by the National Institutes of Aging of the National Institutes of Health under Award# R43AG080852.
Dr. Kendrick's promotion of vascular disease treatment and wellness is evident in his vascular chapters and healthcare technology research, which has included venous disease, lymphatic disease. His ongoing work as Chairman of the Board for SANO Health ARM is centered on earlier detection of arterial disease to reduce adverse cardiovascular disease events and modernizing methods to improve health literacy.
Dr. Kendrick's most exciting moment was being honored by the Coca Cola Corporation, the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, and the University of Georgia, as a Community Hero and one of the 12,467 Olympic torchbearers during the 1996 Olympic Games torch relay.
